Housing carries the largest weight: rent for a one-bedroom averages $1,500 to $2,500, depending on whether you are in Tumonโ€™s tourist core, the Hagรฅtรฑa capital area, or further inland in Dededo or Yigo. Utilities add another $150 to $250 a month, with air conditioning the biggest driver from May through November. Groceries run 20 to 40 percent above the mainland average and fuel sits a few cents above the US national average.
